Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Mn-Zn-based ferrite capable of enhancing strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a Mn-Zn ferrite containing a main component of iron oxide of 51.0 to 56.0 mol% in terms of FeO, zinc oxide of 5.0 to 14.0 mol% in terms of ZnO and the balance manganese oxide MnO and Si of 50 to 300 ppm in terms of SiOand Ca or 200 to 3000 ppm in terms of CaCOas accessory components and having a composition ratio X of Ca and Si at a point A where the Ca concentration in a grain boundary existing between grains is maximum and a composition ratio Y of Ca and Si at a point B separating 5 nm from the point A in an inner direction of grains satisfying relational expressions of 0.5≤X≤1.0 and X+0.05≤Y≤X+0.50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】強度を向上させることが出来るMn−Zn系フェライトを提供する。 【解決手段】酸化鉄をFe 2 O 3 換算で51.0〜56.0mol%、酸化亜鉛をZnO換算で5.0〜14.0mol%、残部が酸化マンガンMnOである主成分から成り、副成分として、SiをSiO 2 換算で50〜300ppm、CaをCaCO 3 換算で200〜3000ppmを含有し、粒子間に存在する粒界中のCa濃度が最大になる点AのCaとSiの組成比Xと、点Aから粒子の内部方向に5nm離れた点BにおけるCaとSiの組成比Yが、0.5≦X≦1.0及びX+0.05≦Y≦X+0.50の関係式を満たすMn−Znフェライト。 【選択図】図1
